Twisted Melon

A new stage for 2008 - take a trip down to the bottom of the field for an unexpected surprise. There will also be some buskers slots available on this stage.

  • Nikki Rous

Her voice just pulls your emotions in and makes them rise and fall in time to the music. Nikki's performed alongside Level42, Nerina Pallott and Miles Hunt among other artists.

  • Bloco Electro (Acoustic Set)

Bloco Electro is a 5 piece percussion group that explores the ground where tradition and technology collide. They make exciting music that combines the raw energy of live drumming with contemporary club sounds.

  • The Velvet Dukes

An exciting acoustic fusion of blues, funk and soul. A very talented local band not to be missed.

  • Dan Dunne and the Reels

The recipe? Sex, old money, sugar and dark whisky. Slice a piece of good times, dice some rock and add a pinch of jazz, a dash of folk and colour with the blues. Pour in a generous glug of the good stuff and serve raw...

  • The Anomalies

With bohemian instinct, indie attitude and animated sounds harking back to the days of old school, They bring an intoxicating charisma to the music scene.

  • The Kryptics

Mid-Wales favourite bunch of nerd rockers with their very own brand of tumble drying, domestic applianced melodic rock noise..

  • Cosmo

Cosmo is the guita-pickin' son of a lapsed Hungarian baron and a disinherited Scottish noblewoman allegedly descended from William the Conqueror. We love him!

  • The Wind Whistles

Original Canadian indie-folk duo that captures the interest of more than just folk fans. Their songwriting pays tribute to old and forges the new. Simple, fun and definitely memorable.

  • Whistling Biscuits

Genre spanning acoustic 6-piece, fusing elements of Blues, Jazz, Rock, Folk, Country & Soul, with a firm reputation as a top quality live act, the future's bright, the future's biscuit.

  • BOTOX

A curious blend of nob-out dub-squelch and up-front, rude, in-your-face sheep garage. These odd balls improvise some serious traditional guff. With a drummer on the dancefloor this could be quite a disaster.

  • Cup Of Twee?

From dark caves came two cavemen, untouched by society's values, the music business' ideals and musical ability. They created a new kind of music, an enthusiastic, spontaneous, music.

  • Clay Statues

This dirty mix of disco beats, aggression and good 'ole rock 'n roll will probably be the best 2 piece musical arrangement you will ever experience. Like Motorhead fighting with The Rapture.

  • Dread Giveaways

Noise and Pollution wash over you as The Dreads let loose with their unique splurge of punk and fuzzy soundscapes. A finely warped import direct from Amsterdam.

  • The Imperial Pigs

A fine spaced out massive sprawling journey into the minds of some hardened festival musicians with nods to The Pixies, Zappa, Nirvana and The Dead Kennedys. Pure Class.

  • Quercus Burlesque

Driving bass lines weave round the domestic industrial beats of contemporary kitchenware, while voluptuous melodies escape the corset of conformity. Their influences are various, from dub to folk via electronica and dance.

  • El Rey 5

An acoustic burp that breathes life into a three ringed circus with free entry to the ranks of the twisted and disheartened just needing an excuse to get together and get down.

  • Ska Wars

A breathless skankathon to bring the whole festival to a climax. 8 bands playing 15 mins back to back, no breaks, all rounded off with all 8 bands and anyone else who wants to join in playing a couple of classics together. A belting way to finish the weekend..

  • The Undercover Hippy

Bringing together elements of folk, hip-hop and reggae The Undercover Hippy delivers extremely catchy, politically charged and thought provoking songs. Think Bob Dylan meets Bob Marley playing acoustic hip-hop…
